Biography:
Dr Batty is the principal lead for the sport and exercise science department at Wrexham University, bringing extensive expertise in applied research and professional practice across clinical and performance settings. A cases -accredited sport and exercise scientist, she demonstrates a strong commitment to advancing evidence-based practice. Her research has primarily focused on the application of exercise science in health contexts, with particular emphasis on cardiac rehabilitation and exercise fidelity. More recently, her research interests have expanded into the field of cancer exercise rehabilitation. She is particularly interested in the role of tailored exercise interventions in supporting individuals living with rare cancers.
