Dear Participants of the, Global Conference on Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

I am honoured to be speaking at the 4th Edition of Global Conference on Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (GCPR 2026). Experts from across the globe share knowledge on anatomical topics to help each other improve patient recovery and return to exercise or sport. My background is in Sports Medicine Podiatry. Believe it or not, I chose my profession after having trained Standardbred race horses growing up and knew that I could help people with their gait issues. I am a 38-time marathoner and have experienced injuries and can relate to my athletes. I look forward to hearing from the distinguished faculty that will be presenting the next few days. No matter how long or short you may be in your practice, the learning never stops and this is an opportunity to learn from the best!

Dear Attendees it is an honor and great pleasure

It is an honor and great pleasure to write a few welcome notes for the session entitled “Sports medicine care of the foot and ankle: now and into the future”. Lower extremity sports injuries are frequent, yet are often mis-understood on how best to diagnose and treat, and they continue be a hot topic in athletics amongst both athletes and healthcare providers. Early accurate diagnoses are necessary to formulate a treatment protocol on how best to return an athlete quickly and safely to sport. A thorough review and discussion of current concepts and pearls should be both relevant and interesting to attendees. A contemporaneous update will be presented, including applicable research and evidence-based studies. Presentation will include a brief historical discussion, current concepts, and possible future emerging concepts.

Dear Attendees it is a great pleasure

At the GCPR 2025, we heard several presentations about knee osteoarthritis but there was one aspect that seems to be consistently overlooked. I have presented a full training on this in the past and an honoured to be invited back to share my research and expertise regarding this common and debilitating diagnosisin GCPR 2026. What can rehab do with a process that is degenerative (read as “inevitable”), likely progressive, and expected to worsen over time?  Often patients present feeling hopeless and merely want to wait for the Knee Replacement Surgery because they believe nothing can be done. Can we really impact functional performance for those with a “Degenerative Disease”?  While there have been many advancements in technology and surgical techniques, we will explore research and practice guidelines for the long-term and successful management of Knee Osteoarthritis without surgery and propose some specific types of exercise that have been shown to be effective for both pain and disability associated with this exceedingly common diagnosis.

Dear Friends

It is an honor, to welcome you on behalf of the Scientific Committee to the 4th Edition of Global Conference on Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (GCPR 2026), which will be held in hybrid format from September 24-26, 2026, in London, UK, and virtually (Hybrid Event). GCPR 2026 will support bridging science and care, interrelating rehabilitation specialists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, biomedical engineers, clinicians, researchers, and healthcare policymakers. Thereby, we have to deploy innovative care models, and digital solutions that are transforming patient care and healthcare systems worldwide through new technologies as well as integrative and evidence-based approaches in the context of the ongoing transformation of health and social care ecosystem towards personalized, preventive, predictive, participative precision medicine (P5M). Thereby, we must consider and understand the individual health status, conditions and genetic and genomic dispositions in personal social, occupational, environmental and behavioral context at any level from elementary particles up to society and universe. This requires a multidisciplinary knowledge-driven approach, as defined in ISO 23903 Integration and Interoperability Reference Architecture I have developed. Welcoming you in London, I’m sure that this conference will provide an excellent platform to discuss cutting-edge research, policy updates, and evidence-based practices that are shaping the future of physical medicine and rehabilitation, healthcare technologies and practices, and education. So enjoy a successful event.

Dear Scientists and Friends

Advances in systems biology and design-driven clinical applications are be-ginning to transform the healthcare landscape into multi-dimensional (sys-tems) one. Being a cornerstone of Personalized and Precision Healthcare Services, this  physico-chemical medicine conference stands as a premier forum for advanc-ing scientific excellence, fostering collaboration, and inspiring transformative ideas across upgraded medical health science, treatment and rehabilitation, whilst generating global avenues to shape the next era of global healthcare and wellness. As we gather in this international hub of knowledge and culture, demonstrat-ing the latest advancements in medical science and clinical practice, including breakthroughs in diagnostics, therapeutic innovations, patient-centered care, rehabilitation, disease prophylaxis and prevention, we offer the perfect backdrop for participants to engage in thought-provoking discussions on research innovation among healthcare professionals, researchers, biodesign-ers and thought leaders to exchange wisdom, unveil breakthroughs, and forge partnerships for a healthier world.

Rehabilitation today, as a time-honored and highly cost-effective therapy for almost all kinds of diseases and post-operational care, belongs to the evi-dence-based and upgraded recovery process, which integrates the latest in-novations in physico-chemical medicine. Our mission is to contribute to high-quality professional education and provide a platform for sharing of experience and research findings in the field of preventive medicine and re-habilitation. The Conference will include workshops, lectures, presentations of research abstracts, and sessions with experts from around the world, rep-resenting a unique opportunity to connect, learn, and collaborate with es-teemed experts in the fields of physico-chemical medicine and rehabilitation, whilst inspiring innovations, fostering multidisciplinary dialogue, and pro-moting evidence-based approaches towards rehabilitation of the near future to come. During the sessions, we will explore an efficient system of vetting the ever-expanding world of Hi-Tech, and how we can better select and use modern design-driven biotechnologies, including genetic manipulation, bio-logic agents, rehab technology, use of AI as well as better preventive strate-gies with focus on maintaining good health instead of canonical disease management  to improve patient outcomes in rehabilitation.

Personally I am convinced that the international partnership and collabora-tion would play a crucial promoting role for the jointly set projects from any points of view. I do hope that your interaction with your colleagues from many different countries will stimulate a creative exchange of ideas and will be personally rewarding. We look forward to welcoming you to the Grand Event, to be held in Lon-don as one of the well-known and prestigious City, the capital of the greatest country in the Globe, Great Britain, to taste a smell of the deeply rooted sci-ence, practice and culture, and to enjoy the interaction with your colleagues from different countries whilst stimulating a creative exchange of ideas!

Dear All Participants

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the session entitled “Why Do Chronic Pain Patients Suffer?” Chronic pain is often misunderstood and treated as if it were acute pain. Yet the underlying biology is very different. In chronic pain, the brain and immune system play a central role with changes in central sensitization, neuroinflammation, and immune signaling helping to maintain pain long after any initial tissue injury has healed. When we manage chronic pain with an acute-pain mindset, we miss these mechanisms. This can lead to under-recognition of the condition, stigma, and treatment approaches that do not address the true drivers of suffering. This session will explore how the brain and immune system contribute to chronic pain, why it is frequently mischaracterized, and how shifting our understanding can lead to more appropriate, compassionate, and effective management. We look forward to your engagement in this important conversation.
