Biography:
Professor Zouhir Boukara is the Professor and Head of the Department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at CHU Blida, Algeria. He serves as the President of the Algerian Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (SAMER) and Vice President of the African Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ASPRM). Professor Boukara is an active member of the National Steering Committee of the Algerian Ministry of Health for the National Stroke Care Plan and the Ministerial Committee for the National Hemophilia Care Program. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Algerian Journal of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (AJPRM) and previously served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the Faculty of Medicine of Blida (JFMB) from 2018 to 2026. In addition to leading clinical, academic, and research activities in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, he is committed to advancing research, innovation, robotics, and artificial intelligence to enhance rehabilitation medicine and improve patient care.
